Work in Progress
Currently in progress—this is just a rough draft for now, subject to significant changes. However, the overall vibe should remain: my main reference for the Prymars is the Eastern Roman Empire—Byzantium—adjusted for certain aspects of the world (particularly their current small population, the scarcity of metals in their lands, their militaristic leanings, and several other features).
In DnD terms, if we consider the stereotypical inclinations of the people, Prymars make excellent paladins, clerics, and sorcerers.
Prymars—the descendants of the golden-haired giant Aurehjo, the first created humans, who have remained almost unchanged since ancient times. Tall and mighty, with golden curly hair and bronze skin, they seem to have stepped straight out of myth… though that does not necessarily make them superior.
Physically, Prymars possess great strength and striking beauty, but they are not particularly resilient. They struggle with hunger and deprivation and suffer greatly from disease. Morally, they are characterized by ambition and self-assurance: the First Children firmly believe that it was they whom the Father entrusted with ruling the world.
Prymars prefer to settle in coastal, warm lands, never straying too far from the ocean. They are excellent sailors and fishermen, daring enough to challenge even the mighty leviathan sea beasts. The Ocean itself has become one of their key cultural pillars: their main festivals are tied to it, they gather food from it, and they use it as a source of materials. Lacking free access to metals from the north, Prymars make extensive use of the hides and bones of sea creatures.
In terms of knowledge, Prymars have advanced further than most in military affairs, engineering, and agriculture. They have developed sophisticated soil cultivation techniques, build aqueducts, craft powerful crossbows, and possess the secret of liquid fire.
Prymars worship the Father (Aurehjo) and see it as their duty to unite all humans under his rule.
