Brunars

Work in Progress
In progress right now—this is just a rough draft, which may change significantly. However, the core vibe should remain: these are “dark-skinned Spartans” who value human potential and self-improvement above all else.

In DnD terms, if we consider the typical inclinations of the people, Brunars make excellent fighters, monks, and wizards.

Brunars—people who live under the crimson sun of the lands of Bruna—are a nation of hardened warriors. Dark-skinned and golden-eyed, tall and strong, they have spent generations surviving in a hostile climate surrounded by hostile peoples. This has taught them to rely not on gods, but on themselves and their own strength.

Brunars follow the “Path of Trials,” exalting physical power and mental fortitude above all else. They are resilient and proud warriors who build impregnable fortresses in the heart of the desert. They rarely show aggression toward their neighbors but will allow no one to step onto their land without permission.

Brunars wear their earned scars with pride but reject any intentional harm to their own bodies—tattoo culture is considered filthy and savage among them.

Few can rival the Brunars in mastery of melee weapons or endurance in extreme heat. They have a tendency to accumulate knowledge and wealth, valuing the worth of every object.
